Latin America's iOS Dance Game Trends in Q1 2024: Sensor Tower Insights

Latin America's iOS gaming landscape saw varied performance among the top dance games during the first quarter of 2024. Here's a snapshot of the data provided by Sensor Tower.

Just Dance Now, published by Ubisoft, maintained a steady user base with downloads peaking at 9.6K in mid-January and then seeing a gradual decline to 5.1K by the end of March. Weekly active users started strong at 16K but dipped to around 10.7K. Revenue trends showed a decrease from $4.2K in the first week of January to $2.9K by the last week of March.

Coco Play's Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop experienced a spike in downloads mid-January at 1.8K, with a drop to just under 1.2K by March's end. Weekly active users hovered around 7.5K to 8.7K. In terms of revenue, the app saw a modest fluctuation, with the highest at $59 in the week of February 12th and the lowest at $11 in early March.

Another Coco Play title, Ice Skating Ballerina, saw its downloads decrease from 906 to 745 over the quarter, with weekly active users reflecting a similar downward trend from 1.4K to 1.3K. Revenue showed more stability, with a peak at $94 in early January and ending the quarter at $63.

Coco Play's Acrobat Star Show had negligible revenue, thus the focus is on its downloads and active users. Downloads saw an uptick from 110 in mid-March to 263 by the quarter's end, while weekly active users increased from 479 to 634 in the same period.

Lastly, Hip Hop Battle - Girls vs Boys, also from Coco Play, showed a gradual increase in downloads from 33 at the end of January to 175 by the end of March. Active users saw a rise from 445 to 549, while revenue remained minimal, peaking at $18 in late February.
